AFL is more than a game. For Melbournians, it’s a birthright. For its legions of followers, it’s a religion. For Australians everywhere, it is a leader by example for progressive social change. The one sport we can claim our own truly represents who we are. The choice of Justice Kirby’s for the voice-over is almost as inspired as the man himself.
Selling sex with a smile
Sex sells. Selling sex, however, is something else. Safe sex that is. With a spike in HIV and STI infections NSW Health needed to get the safe sex message back out there. But no shock ad, no dire warnings, no nanny state finger wagging. Something more along the lines of sex is natural, sex is good, even better when it’s safe. When that postcoital bliss shines clear of morning-after, what-if worries.
